Physical Therapy for SCI is a specialty, and many PTs don't want to tackle it or don't have the necessary equipment. Note that not all PTs who deal with SCI deal with all types of injuries, so be sure they have a good understanding of the type of SCI before making an appointment. You'll have the best luck with PT/Rehab businesses that are associated with a hospital. Your best bet is to work through doctor/hospital referrals when possible.
