 Welcome... Kayaking isn't my business -- it's my passion. So I provide custom instruction only for students serious about mastering this sport.
I am ACA-certified to teach white water, open-ocean coastal, and traditional kayaking. The "certification" that counts, however, comes from countless hours of paddling, kayak racing, and character-building thrashings in rough water. My courses draw from the full history of kayaking; traditional paddles developed by Inuit hunters of old, wing paddles pioneered by modern Olympic racers, and the common Euro-paddle. And I use the best waters the Pacific Northwest has to offer; white water, ocean surf, and the Puget Sound.
